This resort is worth the travel time and money. If you're with a group and can forgo beachfront property, this is the way to go. The pool is one of the best I've seen. The rooms are large and clean and accommodating. No beach front is my only gripe. That, and no covered parking.

Love the resort. My family and I have came here every year for the past 8 years. Seems security gets worse every year. There is one that is extremely annoying. He definitely failed the test to be a real police officer for sure. Every year we spot him coming a mile away. Because of him we will not return next year. And we have heard from numerous guest the same. Thanks Barney for ruining our family vacation.

I stayed here last summer with my 4 year-old, 21 year-old and his girlfriend. I have to say this is one of the best places I have stayed in Orange Beach. I loved, loved. loved our room. It was huge and more than enough room for the four of us. The jacuzzi tub in the master bath was perfect for my 4 year old to "swim" in on the one day that it rained.

Pros: Close to beach
Lazy river
Huge pool
Kiddie pool
Wonderful staff
Clean
Spacious
Great View
Close to restaurants

Cons: Hardly anything to say that was bad, the only "con" I would say was that on Thursday night the noise level coming up from the pool was a little loud due to a bunch of teens that were having a good time. I really didn't mind it though. They weren't being obscene or anything just a little loud when I was trying to get my kiddo down for the night. But like I said, it wasn't really a big deal.

I highly, highly recommend this property!

Oh and if you have little ones with you, book them on the pirate cruise. It's only a 3 minute drive from the hotel and the staff on the boat go out of their way to make it a memorable experience for the little ones. Even my 21 y/old had fun!

Room Tip: Rooms facing the pool (which is what we had) may be a little loud at night if you have little ones...

We just had a great weekend at the resort. The 2 bedroom condo 1423 was huge and the balcony view made you feel like you were on an island. The rooms were decorated beautifully and really felt like home. We picked this resort because of the lazy river and water slides but because of the temperature, low 70's, the water was just too cold to enjoy it. In warmer weather, I'm sure this we would have lived by the pool. We literally parked outside of our door each day with no issues. That's a huge benefit with two little ones. The resort is a little tucked away but only a 10 min ride to the beach, restaurants and stores.

A few minor complaints:
-The pools and slides were the main reason for our stay but because the water was so cold. We couldn't get in. There is very limited seating in the pool area so just hanging out by the water was not an option. If you don't arrive early, you will not get a seat. This was the case, 2 out of the 3 days we were there at we arrived around 11am each day.
-The indoor heated pool area was like a sauna. We were literally sweating from the heat in the room before even getting into the water. The first day, the heated pool water was warm. The 2nd day, there was some kind of pipe issue which caused the pool to be closed for half of the day. When we returned, the heated pool was no longer heated. The room temperature was hot but the water was cold.
-The water from the indoor pool ran into the lobby of the resort each day. This was not an issue for us but seemed like an accident waiting to happen.
-There is no pool towel service so you must bring your own beach towels for swimming.
-Each night there were noisy crowds hanging out on the balconies all night long. It didn't bother us much but definitely something to be aware.
-Unlike other places we've stayed, there is no restaurant, no pool grill, no bar, no nothing. You either have to prepare food in your condo or go out for something.

So overall, the resort if really nice but we will probably try something else on our next visit to Orange Beach.

we rented condo 1106 through brett robinson, and had a beautiful time. this place is really great for kids. they have added a fence around the young child pool and it really provides a safe environment for the children to play. my 2 year old loved the lazy river with the help of her "swim ways" shirt/tube and the slide provides hours of fun for kids and adults. the grounds are beautiful to take a walk around, we saw geese and a blue heroine, little sand spot to put your toes in, walk on the pier and look at the fishing boats. the putting green is fun place to putt-putt or blow bubbles. our condo was decorated nicely, provided plenty of room, large bathroom, tub and closet. excellent view from balcony of the pool area and the bay waters. this place helps you relax and have quality family fun!

Room Tip: condo 1106, great view!

Great time again with the kids grand-kids and friends. Great place for families. Some times Security can be a little annoying made the kids stop playing with their water guns and stopped the kids in the pool from throwing around the nerf football but other than that great time.

Room Tip: Stayed in 1428 great room but several people from the group in several different rooms including our...
