If you’re old enough to remember what Americanized Mexican food was like in the 70’s then you’re familiar with this place. I am and I do, and I like it. It’s a lot of melted cheese and mildly spicy meats. The salsa that arrives at the table when you are seated is not, however mild. There is a presence of jalapeno and tomato that is pleasing. The cheese on the nachos is rich and creamy, and my enchiladas were well prepared but adding some salsa brought the heat level up to my preference. The staff was efficient and attentive. You won’t think you’ve been transported to Old Mexico but if you like Americanized Mexican this is the place.
