This was our first holiday without the kids in 11 years and what a way to do it! I don't know what I can add to all the other reviews, other than ITS TRUE. This place is amazing. The Staff are fantastic, with great sense of humours. The villa (Spa Pool Villa 5) was so stunning, I teared up with the beauty of it. The sunsets each evening were spectacular. I had the 3 day unlimited spa package, which had me experience the best massages I have ever had (tip book in early as it gets quite busy). This is a holiday of relaxation, eating well, being pampered, surrounded by stunning gardens and enjoying the lovely Fijian people. Tom and I thank you for making our second honeymoon so amazing.

Room Tip: Spa Pool Villa 1-5 are right on the beach and have lots of sun. Book spa early. Take a helicopter if...

Bula Sue,
Thank you so much for your wonderful review of your recent stay at Tokoriki Island Resort, Fiji. The Sunset Pool Villas are truly spectacular and feature a great 3.5 x 2.5m personal pool with infinity edge perfect for watching the most amazing tropical sunsets. The outdoor shower with views over the ocean is also one of the main features of this stunning villa.

The well established gardens which are cared for by 12 extremely, proud and passionate landscapers including our orchid specialist who ensures the resort is filled with exotic flowers at all times, certainly gives Tokoriki a stunning look and feel.

The Unlimited Massage offer is a great way to experience the spa over 3 days ensuring you leave our shores totally relaxed and revitalised. The Serenity menu offers amazing facials and body treatments that guarantee you floating back to your bure or villa.

Thanks again Sue, and a big bula to Tom for sharing your wonderful Tokoriki experience with future travellers to our paradise. On behalf of the Tokoriki Island Resort team we say VINAKA!

My wife and I just returned from a incredible week at Tokoriki Island Resort. We happened upon it at the recommendation of a friend and the experience exceeded her description, by a long shot. It's one of those places where, at the time, you feel like you were dreaming, and upon returning, it didn't even seem real. The resort's formula is perfect. First, the setting...a beautiful private island in Fiji with azure colored water and coral beaches. The bures are fantastic, nearly opulent yet maintaining an authentic, Fijian flavor. But, what makes the place so very special is the staff. The people are genuinely happy and this is absolutely contagious. Alfie, the duty manager was the first person we met as we disembarked the chopper and was the last person waving goodbye as we lifted off a week later. The guy was like a brother to us, always there with a big smile and his wonderful soul. And it just comes down to that. Tokoriki Island Resort is imbued with the heart and soul of the people, and you feel it. That separates them from most of the other luxury resorts around the world. They are truly a wonderful family and we were lucky enough to have been adopted by them. We'll be back for sure. Vinaka!!!

Room Tip: We stayed in #18 but all the bures are beachfront with wonderful privacy.

Bula MeredithC,
Thank you for your lovely comments on your recent honeymoon stay at Tokoriki Island Resort, Fiji. Teppanyaki only seats 4 couples, definitely a good idea to prebook. We are delighted you enjoyed your Teppan experience. The Sunset Pool Villas are 120sqm featuring a separate living room, over 70sqm of decking with a great size 3.5 x 2.5m personal pool, 2 sunloungers and a double day bed under a thatched cabana which is great for afternoon relaxation and sunset viewing. The ultimate honeymoon accommodation on a tropical island. Thanks again from the team at Tokoriki and we look forward to welcoming you again for a longer stay next visit. Vinaka!

My partner and I went to Tokoriki Island Resort for a day trip. We had a two hour spa treatment followed up by a romantic lunch on their private deck. It was a highlight of our fiji stay, the staff and resort are amazing.

The day commenced at 9.40 when Island Hoppers driver collected us from our resort (on time) and drove us to Sheraton where our chopper arrived to take us to Tokoriki. I would be lying if I was to say I wasn't worried, first time in a chopper and I wasn't sure what to expect.

Dave our Chopper pilot was Brilliant, first time in a chopper no worries, I am despise flying with a passion, put me in a chopper any day it was amazing!!

Around 10mins later we began our decent down to Tokoriki were we were greeted with staff, big smiles waving hello as the chopper landed. We felt like we were home. Ushered, into the lobby and provided with fresh fruit cocktails and resfreshment towls...

Then it hit us.... THE MOST AMAZING INFINITY POOL, PALM TREES, WHITE SAND AND AQUA CLEAR WATERS... WOW WOW WOWWWWWWW

After relaxing for 30 minutes it was time to head off for our spa treatments, walking through the grounds of perfectly manicured gardens we and up a small path to our spa treatment.. again amazing. I actually fell asleep, relaxation was the key and we got it.

After the treatments we made our way back to the lobby where we were escorted to our private dinner setting in front of the beach for a three course meal and a bottle of Moet. Wow Wow Wow could this be any more romantic, the prawns were to amazing and my partner said it was the best steak he has ever had..... but then were was sweats... TOKORIKI SANDY ICECREAM - that is a ball of heaven!!! Ice cream with an almost bitter crunchy, almond wrap, toped with an brandy snap tube with cream... I don't think we spoke whilst eating this dessert it was devine. Enjoying the last of our romantic lunch, where we were about to head up to the pool and soak up the sun, staff came down with a guitars and a cake, singing Happy Birthday to my partner. He was shocked so was I... It was a beautiful end to and amazing lunch.. and the cake whilst we could only have a couple of spoons as we were so full from lunch it was divine.

The last 4 hours spent on the day trip were by the pool enjoying sun and cocktails.

Tokoriki Island thank you for having us... the most amazing day trip ever and we will be back on our next trip to Fiji.. this time we will be staying our full duration at your beautiful island.

Room Tip: The ultimate relaxation!!!

We have just got back from a 5 night holiday at Tokoriki Island Resort. We visited there 5 years ago for our 25 Anniversary and have just come back from celebrating our 30th Anniversary. The staff remembered our names as if we were only there last year !!!, we could not believe how many staff were the same, obviously happy in their working environment. The extra addition of the Tepannyaki Restaurant is a definite winner, restricted to 8 guests per night, it was amazing and definitely book before you go to be guaranteed a place. The food in the main area for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner was fantastic, with menus changing daily. Cocktails were superb !!! We had a theme night BBQ one night which was unbelievable, the choice of food was extensive and the dessert table - WOW. We requested Sunset Pool Villa number 5, but we were booked into Villa 3. All the Sunset Pool Villas are the same, but some do get more afternoon sun on the deck than others. Our picks are 2, 4 and 5. All are very private too. We were invited to join a returning guest cocktail party one night which was very nice and great way to get talking with other guests. A walk up to the top of the hill is a "must do" but wear sensible shoes as quite steep in places, beautiful views. We walked over to the Sheraton Tokoriki one day, have to say very disappointed it almost looked like a new sub division, very little growth and quite sterile looking. A special mention must go to JOSUA who once again made our holiday enjoyable, he can never do enough to help, even sheltering me from the rain by using his precious guitar as an umbrella - Thanks Josua. We took some of our own alcohol which we bought duty free to have in our room, as drinks are quite pricey, but always enjoyed a cocktail or two with lunch.

Room Tip: If you can afford the Sunset Pool Villas then I recommend Villa 5 or 2
