“Another great week”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 July 2013

We have recently returned from another great week at Fiji Palms. Each year we go we find improvements on the previous year. We stay in the older units (Unit 4 this time) and find them fantastic and a nice surprise to find Sky TV available in these units (its good to catch up with the news occasionally and with our 7 year old grandson with us it was good entertainment for him on the odd occasion it rained). The extended kitchen at the bar offers a more extended menu than previously and they are great value (try the chicken and sweetcorn soup with garlic bread for $5 - delicious). The staff are exceptional and so welcoming.
We look forward to next year's visit.

This was our second trip to Fiji Palms and this time my wife Emily and I were accompanied by my brother Chris who was on his first trip to Fiji. We want to share the delight of staying at Fiji Palms with as many family and friends as possible. That means we will be going back again and again - we love the place!
We've had a fantastic time again. We rekindled the warm relationships with staff we knew (Management and office staff, Stella and Vince from Focus on Fiji) and acknowledge them again for their humble and conscientious care of guests. We connected with new staff and spent time getting to know Alla and the security boys. Cheers Alla!
Our accommodation was top class, beachfront and very comfortable, we were in unit 2 which overlooks the beach. Our apartment, just like all the others, was fully equipped with cooking utensils, oven, fridge and dishwasher. The laundry contains a washing machine and dryer and the lounge room has comfortable chairs, coffee table and satellite tv. The bedrooms were are airconditioned and the beds were just superb! Our accommodation was top class, beachfront and very comfortable. The apartment was very clean and well presented and was a delightfully comfortable place to relax. We even used the kitchen to cook this time, although most of our meals were taken at the bar/restaurant enjoying the delicious food and happy company. The guests get along well and love to share their daily adventures at the end of the day over a beer or a wine at the bar. The grounds of the resort were great to walk through and Rob's brother took some great photos of beautiful butterflies on the tropical plants. It's like being in Paradise!
We look forward to coming back next year for a two week stay and look forward to renewing the many friendships we have with the staff and other guests. Again, thankyou to all the staff at Fiji Palms, beginning with Wendy and Michael and all the other staff members we have come to love, we look forward to seeing you all next year!!!!!!!!
Rob and Emily.

This was my seventh trip to Fiji and second time at Fiji Palms. We have already booked for next year. It's a really great place for families. This time we took our 16 year old daughter and her friend and also our family friends and their teens/ preteens. All 6 kids had a ball using the facilities of Fiji Palms and The Pearl and making friends locally and at our resort.
We all enjoyed Happy Hour at The Pearl where they had a 4 acoustic guitar band. The Happy hour at Palms was also good, and an hour longer but no live music. It was however a good meeting point. What makes Fiji Palms so enjoyable is the staff, the groundsmen, housekeeping, security and kitchen staff are always smiling and finding time to say Bula and they are genuinely caring friendly people. The Lovo and The Jewel of Fiji are worth booking in for, definite highlights! We Visited three schools ( which I had previously organised) and church, the newly built AOG in Navua. They made us welcome even though it was all in Fijian. Local buses are a great way to travel.

Room Tip: All the rooms are good

Just returned from a week stay at the Fiji Palms as a group of 6 friends. Upon arrival the room was much bigger than we thought. The kitchen is well equipped with nice, quality plates, cutlery etc. and lots of space to store groceries if you don't want to eat out every meal. The resort has a supermarket next door and is a $3FJD cab ride away from the Arts Village down the road with more shops there.

Guests at the Fiji Palms have full access to The Pearl Resort next door which is a must-go during happy hour as well as having more guests to mingle with. The Fiji Palms is nice and quiet which was perfect for relaxing. There are great activities nearby, we were unable to do the Jetski Safari due to weather but the Terra Trek and Day Cruise to Beqa Island were fantastic. The Lovo night was a lot of fun, everyone should make sure to do this when they go!

The rooms are very nice and clean, and the coach beds were surprisingly comfortable. The staff are all very helpful as expected with Fiji. If you're looking for a resort where you can relax, this place is great! The only downside is this part of Fiji does not get the best weather, and if you're looking for full room service this isn't the place for you.

Room Tip: We were in Unit 15, which is part of the new block and is right next to the bar and social area. Gro...

Our family's been coming to Fiji Palms for decades now, It's always welcoming, relaxing, friendly and beautiful. They're not lying when they say that they do the best lovo in Fiji, either. Good to be able to order dinner at the bar or have the office organise a taxi to wherever else we want to go.

We have just returned from super holiday. Can not praise the resort staff enough. They made us feel part of the family. the two "Lovo" nights were exception entertainment as well as the Jewel of Fiji river trip. After weather delays the Paradise Beach trip was terrific last day experience.
We will both return ASAP.

Room Tip: We stayed in the new apartments but also got to see the older ones both very well appointed its just...

We spent a lovely week at Fiji Palms. This resort has everything needed to have a great holiday. The units are very well appointed with a full kitchen and laundry. Rooms dont come with hairdryers but are available at the office if necessary.
There is a restaurant on site as well as being in an excellent position to make access to other great Pacific Harbour restaurants easy. I loved the fact there are 3 supermarkets, a bottle store and a takeaways right across the road. There is even a fruit and vegetable stand at the gate.
Each day a little daily news arrives to let you know what is happening the following day and reminders of what tours are available. I found this a nice touch.
There is beach access straight from the resort and those "in the know" can be found in the mornings feeding the Fiji Palms piranha with bread in the shallows. They're not really piranha but they do love bread
We met some great people while staying here and some who have been returning each year for the last 17 years so they must be doing something right.
The whole atmosphere of the place is a credit to Wendy and her staff. A special mention for Vijay the gardener who can be found at the resort each day happily making sure there are no pot holes in the driveway so that visitors dont hurt themselves when walking in after a night out, he is also great at preparing fresh coconuts so that the water can be drank straight from the coconut.
So even tho the drive from Nadi airport seems like alot of time, it truly is worth the wait.
