The view from your lounge room is better than the photos! Sensational location, wonderfully clean, safe and spacious apartment. Laurent (the owner) is very easy to deal with and was very generous in the free provisions he left in the apartment for our arrival. Perfect for first time visitors as there is a large supermarket directly underneath the apartment's complex and a 100m walk to a major subway interchange for 3 lines. From here can easily travel to major tourist locations (like Bund, AP Plaza Market, Disneyland) but the highlight are the beautiful parks nextdoor and the range of shopping options. No traffic noise but you can watch the magnificent view for hours. Highly recommend for first time visitors as you stay in a non-tourist area so restaurants are 60% cheaper than area around Bund or downtown Shanghai. Lots of room and nice to have own breakfast in apartment before day shopping in fake markets or having cruise on the Bund. Highly recommend Tommy Lee the driver associated with this apartment. He is an excellent English speaking driver and 100 yuan cheaper than those affiliated with Qantas. My family became so comfortable with him that we asked him to take us to Zhujajiao water town for half a day. He was a tremendous host who was knowledgeable and he got us to try some local street food that we would not
have been brave enough to try by ourselves. Hard to describe how good this apartment is compared to staying in standard 5 star Shanghai hotels that I have done in the past. Perfect for those who have never travelled in Asia before.
