We had a room on the second floor (3rd floor for french people). The room was actually a small apartment: two floors, each with a bedroom and a bathroom, and a living room on the first floor that was large enough to accommodate a third bed.
The breakfast was simple but satisfying, you have to fill in a paper with your choice of food (includes eggs, baozi, wonton, toasts, coffee, etc.) the day before and hand it to the front desk.
The bathrooms were clean. The beds were quite hard.
You might have to carry your luggage up to your room by yourself since there are no elevators and the staff isn't always here to help.
The hotel is right next to the subway, a few stops from the bund and the french concession.
Overall a very good hotel!More
