On arrival at the Radisson I was met by friendly and helpful staff who just couldn't do enough to help me.
The hotel room was spacious, the bed was comfortable and the shower was the best I have experienced in my five weeks in China.
The internet was fast and reliableand I had no problems skyping my friends and family back home.
The breakfast was also very good and included a wide selection, again the staff were both friendly and very welcoming. Even the head chef came over to my table, introduced himself and asked if everything was OK.
There is a subway station only two minutes walk away that takes you to the CBD.
I really enjoyed my stay at the Radisson and would definitely stay there next time I visit Shanghai.

We stayed at RADISSON HONG QUAN for 7 nights, the hotel new, still with some work being done, but the place is top best we stayed in Shanghai, very clean, confortable wih a fancy decoration (some stuffed tigers don't match with the rest of it). The staff is friendly , diferent from other hotels and just because of them I would give a 10 grade for this place, very helpfull, getting us directions, making calls to set meetings, and so. The restaurant is also good, the chef ALAN is really into make guests feel good, helping individually everyone, and the waitress ANGLEL is gently and always ready when you need her, only thing in prejudice is the brekfast rate that we thing is too high (around 130rmb). I will stay there again and also recomend the place. The swimming pool and sauna are very clean, nice, and relaxing. The location is not the best as the hotel is located out of center perimeter, but noting that a 40RMB taxi ride can't take you. Hope I can get this kind of place in other cities I go. There is a CARREFOUR supermarket 1 block away, very convenient.

I found this hotel to be extremely clean and comfortable, great management, courteous staff, high speed free internet and super affordable. Most places I needed to travel to where was only a $4-$5 taxi ride away. The subway station Line 11 was only a short 5 Minutes walk. I will most certainly stay at this very tidy hotel on my next trip to Shanghai.

The hotel was just magificant with regards to decor, food, room furniture and quality and above all, the service was amazing. The hotel staff were very informative , helpful, insightful and always willing to assist no matter what was required. Current manager of the hotel has a "hands on approach", talking to guests and always making sure that all requirements were met. We felt as though we were the only ones in the hotel as the service was personal and very well organized! The food in the restaurant was clean, beautifully presented and well catered for western influence. The only thing that was lacking was a spa and massage facility within the hotel. We would not hesitate to go back there as the service in all aspects, from maintenance issues in the room to organizing tours was fast, effecient and very courteous. A memorable place.

We stayed in the Radisson Shanghai Hong Quan in Feb and were amazed at the quality, particularly in view of the room costs compared to the other 5* hotels in Shanghai. Food was great, service was excellent and the overall hotel facilities up with the best we've ever stayed in. Aded to that, we were picked up and dropped off at the airort for no further cost.

I think they priced the rooms before the brand new Metro station was opened because it is unbeatable in value for money terms.

Good location for business but not as central for CBD. Metro line 11 is a five minute walk away, the metro is very convenient for getting around. Not really any restaurants close by, better to head to Xintiandi if you want a selection of restaurants to choose from. Food at the hotel is average.

The lounge on the top floor was excellent. Really great view of the fireworks during Chinese New Year. Great hotel band and really excellent food. The burger with fried egg and bacon was amazing.

The hotel's facilities were great for the value - nice swimming pool!

The staff and manager I interacted with were all friendly and courteous - Would definitely recommend this hotel to friends coming to Shanghai.
