I’ve stayed at most of the Hyatts in Shanghai so thought I’d give Global Harbor a go.
For this price bracket I thought the club lounge was great. Excellent wonton soup, sushi and salads in the evening and a decent breakfast spread. Service was good too. The lounge is big, with lots of sofas.
The club king room is advertised at 40sqm but feels much smaller. Not nearly as nice as the Regency in Wujiaochang, for example. All in all it felt pretty functional and more like a Hyatt Place.
Sorry guys, but the WiFi is terrible! Kept getting logged out every 10 minutes and couldn’t access sites (eg Google Maps) that were quick to load on 4G.
So I’d probably return, but only for the club lounge.More
