“Fantastic restaurant in Shanghai - million dollar view”
Reviewed 26 May 2013

Just experienced an amazing restaurant near the very top of the 'bottle opener' in Pudong Shanghai. Recommended to use the restaurant instead of paying to visit the observation floor of the current tallest building in China - about to be superseded by a building under construction next door.
Rene Pol a french waiter provided amazing service and whilst we blew the budget over the fixed price options the atmosphere, view and food experience (being a mixture of western, asian and various european masterpieces) was incredible. My China standards $100US per person was expensive but balanced against what we ate and drank was worth every bit.

“Unbelievable view”
Reviewed 26 May 2013

A tour guide suggested we have lunch or drinks here instead of paying for the Observation deck at the Shanghai Financial Center. There was a less expensive menu for lunch. Food was pretty good although somewhat Western (which was good for my tummy). We were fortunate that there was just a little haze over the city. I definitely recommend lunch here as an alternative to the Onservation deck.

wow the panoramic position is unique. But the average food quality cannot be compensated by oversize portions...

They do also now serve breakfast in restaurant. They have three breakfasts areas, European, Chinese and Japanese buffets. Great view.

“Great view, good food”
Reviewed 29 April 2013

A friend and I came to the place by suggestion of a tourist guide where it was said that there was a set menu for 188 RMB. They were wrong only by 500 RMB, since the less expensive set menu was 680 RMB. We ended up having that - it is a lot of food, incl. 2 starters, 3 cold dishes and 2 main dishes, plus fruit and ice cream. Overall it was very good, but also very expensive. In the end, I think it was worth the experience.
