First of all, this is the Kamii or Guo Qian restaurant located at 111 Yili Road South on the 2nd floor of the building. We actually visited the restaurant twice within one week because we enjoyed not only the food, but the staff. This was a $40.00 per person, all you can eat and drink Sushi style restaurant in Shanghai. This is not a buffet type restaurant. They hand you the menu and you just start ordering. Our party of four had a great time trying as many variations of sushi that we could find on the menu. And if you are not a big sushi fan (which I am not), they also have steak and tempura. The hot saki was a nice compliment to the dinner choices, but we also ordered what looked like a 3 foot tall beer bong. We never did finish all the beer, because we were enjoying the hot saki. The staff was simply wonderful. Attentive and constantly pouring tea, they were constantly present to take our new orders. The staff actually looked like they enjoyed working. We had the opportunity to meet two different managers; one male and one female. They were service oriented and made sure their staff took care of the customers. The food was prepared quickly and with a flare of creativity and served promptly. If you are in Shanghai, you really should try this restaurant and see what you think. It is great for couples, but even more fun with a group of friends or business associates. Well worth the money. I would recommend this restaurant without hesitation.
