Great for breakfast, alot to choose from bakery products.

Very bad air inside, no circulation.

Coffe ok, but alot of cheap robusta beans, could be better.

Very nice staff, we lost our wallet and they kept it until we realized we lost it(Many thanks!!!)

I've been to Baker & Spice a couple of times over the year. They serve sandwiches, panini, tartines, soups and other things. Everything's quite good, fresh, and feels healthy. It's reminds me a lot of Wagas... oh right, it's from the same people. It's quite obvious if you've been to both. Also worth nothing: they've got a good selection of pies and cakes, if you like desserts you're in for a treat. All in all, B&S is great for a quick meal, for lunch or for coffee, but it's not an actual restaurant, so don't take your date here if you're looking for a romantic dinner. Also worth noting: at the B&S in Lujiazui, they don't actually serve your food, you have to go order it, get it and pay for it yourself at the counter. Not a lot of staff too so they get busy and tense.

Ive had their blueberry cheesecake as my birthday cake for a few years in a row. Their breads are also not bad, and their juices are always fresh, even though they are rather expensive.

First of all, this bakery has the best bread I've ever tasted - it's German and healthy-American-style mixed. Moist, American-shaped loaf chock full o' pumpkin seeds, nuts, etc. It tastes good without anything on it. The pastries, soups, and sandwiches all looked and tasted good - (I tried everyone else's, too). The only downside to this visit was that one member of our group did not get his seafood soup until everyone else was finished, even though someone else in the group had the same dish!

Great coffee. The real thing.. 10 times better than a Starbucks or Costa. Food always good for western open sandwiches and french bakery. The best quality products are used for sure. There are a number around now in Shanghai. Make an effort to find one. It is worth it.
