Stayed here a couple of times this year to escape the hustle and bustle of Shanghai and both times was blown away by the fantastic service and facilities. I stayed in the Mandarin river view room which had fantastic views across the river at sunset. The room was extremely comfortable and spacious, the ambiance and decoration were also wonderful. The food provided in the Club Lounge buffet was delicious, something for everyone, even a fussy vegetarian like me! I also enjoyed a wonderful morning in the pool and SPA which included dry sauna and steam room, and even thought of the details like iced towels and heated relaxation chairs. The hotel is also well-located close to the Subway and to the river, allowing for easy access into town or lovely afternoon walks on the riverside promenade. The best part was the attentive and genuinely friendly service provided by all members of staff, making me feel welcome and cared for.
