This is an okay hotel. Not in the most convenient location but it only cosy 20 Yuan to go to the Bund by taxi. The best thing about the hotel is you are next door to the Wu Mart, which is a great store to go to. I was on a China Focus tour, and every morning all of us were at the Wu Mart buying luggage or film or socks.
The hotel was the worst of the four we stayed in in China for two major reason--there were only two elevators in the hotel, and in the morning you may have to wait several minutes to get an elevator. Also the breakfast was awful--there is no other way to put it. I went to the Wu Mart and bought bananas, peanut butter, and bread, and would go to the breakfast room and have a banana or a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. One morning at the Egg line, the two cooks got in a fight and started slapping each other.
I stayed in room 5020, and it was huge by Chinese standards. The bathroom was very nice and very clean. My room was also clean.
