Stayed here because of its good reviews on another site. First room we received had never been cleaned. Hair and many stains on the floor, disgusting couches, filthy bathroom floor, and peeling drywall. We informed the front desk and were told that we could have it cleaned then and there or wait the following day. That was not acceptable and they eventually showed us another room. It appeared to be much cleaner, but still not the expected quality from the pictures and the reviews.

Floors were still stained but at least vacuumed and the refrigerator wasn't plugged in. One of the beds was a pad covering what seemed to be a wooden box. We took it. After we got back to the room on our second day, we found cards for call girls in our hotel room door and noticed them at other rooms as well. In addition, we found disgusting stains on the couch and filthy socks in the large closet on our way out.

Checked out early because of the cleanliness.

We stayed 4 Nights in this hotel. Rooms are not as spacious as other hotels in China ( 4star). Location is OK there are lot of small shops near by for Fruits, Cola etc. Breakfast was served on second floor. Mainly Chinese food served in the breakfast, very limited western/ continental food available. Need to wait for elevator for almost 5-10 minutes every time you come to hotel or go out of you room. Just average hotel to stay.

I stayed here during a Semicon Show I attended in Shanghai. It was a few stops away by train to THE BUND. I find the interiors of the hotel as well as the rooms to be modern and comfortable.

Would definitely stay here again.

When arrived in hotel, took more than 20mins go up to our rooms for just waited for the lift in the lobby.

Room facilities are averages and do not have cotton buds in our room. Bathroom equipped with ceiling warm light which quite useful in the winter.

Room comes with kitchenette and simple cook facilities. Breakfast served on the second floor is very cozy.

Again, waited more than 20mins for the lift go up to our rooms in the morning. End up, walk the exit stairs to lobby and go up to our room on level 11. Later than come to know there is event on the top floor. Because of this has made lots of inconvenient for the in-house guest.

Please do improve this...

I recommend this hotel for a stay in Shanghai. Though it is located on some distance from the subway Century Avenue, it is easily accessable by taxi at ca. RMB15 (st. Century av. - line2). From this station we used subway to reach all our destinations in Shanghai - this was cheaper and quicker than taxi for complete route. Shanghai has very convenient subway network.
The staff at the hotel is not 100% english speaking, but the current level to help and their efforts was enough for convenient stay.
The rooms are spacious enough, clean and adjusted for even long stay - they have facilities for cooking, ironing, water boiling. And on the opposite side of the street you can find a nice small store with fresh fruits to regale yourself in the evening:)
Internet is really free. Note, first you have to enable the internet connection at the reception.
Price/quality relation is good. From it's location you can quickly easily reach all relevant places. I recommend this hotel esspecially for business stay, but also for tourism.
