This is not for luxury travel but they are clean, great staff, and cost effective. No frills. Breakfast is continental. Dated interior but scheduled for upgrade soon. No bugs. We came in a hurry for a death in family and they were most helpful in getting what we needed. I would stay here again if in this area. Easy access to freeway.

I had to come into town to see someone in the hospital there and booked on very short notice. The check in was friendly with just the right amount of chit chat and the motels amenities were thoroughly explained. When I got to the room, I did an in depth inspection because I am a paranoid freak like that, and I have nothing negative to report. The bathrooms are dated, the Tv's are old (but I had no problem getting channels) and the color of the main wall is a little unsettling, but hey, I paid about 30.00 dollars a night to stay here, when nothing else was available. I would stay here again and not think twice about. If you want champagne, then you better come off the beer budget.

I have stayed here 3 times before on business with the TVA. Ironically, I have stayed in the same room all 4 times. It is clean. The bed is hard to me and needs to be updated Breakfast is typical 2 star. It used to be better. Staff is so-so friendly but don't expect southern charm, HERE is the MAIN GRIPE !!! I am watching a 1980 TV with 1960 reception. It is totally RIDICOULAS ! I cant relax and watch my favorite shows. I recommend spending a little bit more and finding a better place to stay. You will be glad you did.

Beware: I called to cancel a reservation. Person on phone said I had no reservation. A week later I was charged for a room that I (a) had no reservation for and (b) had called and cancelled 4 days before my trip! Talking with Mr Patel, the manager, he told me he had the reservation ( he was the one I spoke with last week) and that he was willing to refund me HALF of the charges... Better than nothing, but will not even consider a future stay!

I've been coming here, since the place was a Days Inn. Everytime I come something has always gotten better, some sort of remodel/painting, large hot breakfast (yum). The staff is helpfull and always makes you feel like your at a home away from home.

On occasion I do come for fishing and this place has boat hook-up's almost everywhere on property. I know with their huge parking lot, it safe and my boats always charged up and already hooked up to my truck and ready to go.
The place does need a bit more work, but they are always on top it upgrading something or another when im by.

Bottom line: best price/value in Scottsboro, rooms are always clean, hot breakfast always starts my day off really well. Staff is great, makes you feel like home. Lots of boat parking and hook ups everywhere.
