Pros: Our 8-year-old son was beside himself with excitement! Our 12-year-old girl really enjoyed it as well. We had a wonderful time exploring the indoor and outdoor exhibits. The museum volunteers went above and beyond to answer all of our many questions. The children learned a lot!
Cons: The museum had recently experienced a fire that destroyed one of the exhibits and the lawn mower was not working. We had to trek through high grass at times. However, it was only a minor inconvenience. Also, several outdoor bathrooms were out of order.
Overall: For such a minimum fee and such nice and helpful volunteers, the museum is well worth it. If you love nostalgia, the museum is a must-see.
