Zoo Ave does important work rehabilitating animals, I wish there were more organizations like Zoo Ave in Costa Rica.
We had a lovely stroll around Zoo Ave. There are gorgeous birds and many other animals too. My kids like walking around and it was not crowded, so we could really take our time.
I do recommend wearing mosquito repellent since it is a wooded area.
You can pay the entrance fee in US$ or Colones.
There is a small cafe near the entrance with an eating area.
