We had a wonderful stay in our little cabaña.
The hosts were adorable, chatty and very helpful.
We had everything we needed and more.
The place was very clean and fully equipped.
We look forward trying the beautiful pool next time.
Thank you very much! :-)

¡Hola Christian y Sarah!

Thanks a lot for your comment. We have not had the chance to tell you how sorry we are for what you already know..... Where did you watch the match? Were you very nervous? hahaha Maybe things will be different in four years :)

It was very fun to talk to you, it is amazing to meet such a nice couple.

Be happy, Pura Vida!

Hugs,

Jose and Maite

My daughter stayed at Mango Valley our first two nights in Costa Rica, and it was a beautiful place to unwind. The grounds are gorgeous, and the view is amazing. The managers are more than helpful, they gave us great recommendations for tours, food, transportation, etc. It was a little out of the way for not having a car. Shuttles to nearby attractions are spendy bus rides are long.

Comfortable, quiet room, delicious breakfast. The perfect place to go relax and forget about city life. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. And ahhh... The swimming pool and its breathtaking view... I will certainly come back!

Absolutely, beautiful, simple, elegant, breathtaking, warm, friendly, relaxing........
What else is there? Oh yes the genuine welcome of the host Jose & Maite, who spend as much time as with you as you need to have all your concerns and questions answered. Oh yes did I mention the fresh Costa Rican coffee and fruit plate along with homemade jam and scrambled eggs and juice that you are served every morning as part of the package. Oh yes, did I mention the terraced landscaping with views of the valley and flat areas for yoga or Tai Chi or mediation... Oh yes did I mention the wonderful infinity pool overlooking the valley.

ill be back my friends. Thank You so very much.

Hi Mike!

Thank you very much for your comment :)

As you know, we were so impressed with your Tai-Chi skills! In fact, all the guests in the hotel were impressed too. If you ever come to live in Costa Rica, you should start a Tai-Chi school hahaha

We wish you the best, Pura Vida!

Hugs,

Jose and Maite

Great place to stay if you're looking for relaxation and an amazing view. No small children, no big crowds, and a very nice setting being the last driveway before the National Park. The owners were very helpful and fun to talk to, they even helped me order some delicious food that was delivered by scooter right to my cottage during a thunderstorm. Couldn't have asked for a better experience after spending a couple days on the beach. The drives to Volcan Poas and La Paz Waterfalls were fairly quick and offered many spectacular views. Mango Valley is only 45 minutes from the airport in San Jose, which makes it a great first or last stop on your trip. I have no complaints about my stay at Mango Valley and will definitely stay there again on my next trip to Costa Rica

How's your idea of the vineyard? Still on? Please remember that we were born in the "land of wine", we want to enjoy yours! And it will be a good excuse to see each other again ;)

Warm regards and "pura vida"!
