This was an interesting tour of a very large range of snakes (many native to Costa Rica, but many rescued pets that are NOT native to Costa Rica). The guide was very knowledgeable, even if young and informally educated, and happy to spend a long time with us - 90 minutes looking at perhaps 30 species of snake and a few other critters. If you are interested in the details about habitat, food choices, poison types, ... then this is well worth the stop - but if you are looking for a typical zoo (lots and lots of variety) or hands on experience (like exists at some rescue centers) then this should probably not be high on your priority list.
