beautiful grounds, pretty nice folks and at the base of the volcano. the stay was very enjoyable and the food was excellent for the included breakfast as well as one dinner we had at the hotel. it is 7km out of town, so you cannot walk anywhere, but with a car it is no problem, and just a ways down the road from tabacon hot springs''($60.00 for 2 days per person)

Room Tip: v iew of the area is good on all sides, get near Sura restauarant

We were in Costa Rica for 7 days just last week. This was by far the best place we stayed. Everyone here was very helpful and very accommodating. The view of Volcano Arenal was spectacular every day. The flowers at the resort were well maintained. Everyone was clean and maintained very well. It was hard to leave from here. I highly recommend you book a reservation here for your stay in the Arenal area.

Room Tip: Ask for a volcano view.

We booked this place through Expedia after reading the positive reviews on Trip Advisor and we were very impressed. We had a lovely, pristine room with surrounded by lovely gardens and with a view of he Arenal Volcano. The staff was friendly and efficient, and booked our visit to the eco-thermales hot springs for us. There was a very good breakfast buffet included in the price. There is a very nice pool and jacuzzi as well. We paid around $70 per night which was excellent, considering the location, gardens, and overall quality of the property. We would highly recommend this place if staying in the Arenal area.

Room Tip: Try to get a room with a view of the Arenal Volcano

Great hotel with lots of amenities. The property is beautiful, our room was clean and had a view of the volcano (which was stunning). The rooms are spread out on the property (with four rooms per building) so it felt very secluded. The restaurant on site was great. I had a wonderful massage at the spa. The staff was very helpful in setting up tours and activities. I would recommend this hotel, with my only negative feedback being that there was some minor noise coming from the other rooms with which we shared walls.
