Arenal is so enchanting on its own, but add in the flora and fauna and hot springs and you have a paradise! We stayed in a two story, two master bedroom room with the most amazing view of the volcano. My three year old daughter absolutely loves all of the pools and feeding the animals.

I stopped into the spa looking to have my nail polish changed and they were able to do it right in the spot. The pedicure chair was very comfortable and relaxing and the girl who did the change was so thorough and made my nails look like I had had a full pedicure.

At the swim up bar, my daughter wanted edamame for lunch. Due to the fact that the sushi restaurant doesn't open until dinner, she was disappointed to have to choose something else. Half way through her sandwich and veggies, the bartender arrived with a fresh bowl of edamame! He went out of his way to get her what she really wanted and then didn't even charge us extra for the edamame! That was so sweet and so generous!

All three generations of family in our group had a wonderful experience and would love to return in the future!

The Springs Resort was amazing!!! The rooms were large with sweeping volcano views. There many activities that were a short drive away...it was very relaxing to return to the resort and soak in the hot springs after a day of adventure. The food and service at the resort were very good. I would highly recommend this resort.

This resort is truly spectacular. The natural beauty of Costa Rica is complimented by the incredible design of the resort and amenities. Every room has a view of Arenal Volcano. There are tons of activities right on the property; tubing, kayaking, horseback riding, rock climbing, and much more. After adrenaline pumping activities, to relax in the natural hot springs felt like heaven. There is an animal sanctuary which serves as a home for rescued animals, incredible. Several restaurants with exquisite cuisine. The staff are the nicest most accommodating group of people. I don’t think the word “no” exists in their vocabulary. Just an amazing experience from start to finish. I can’t wait to go back!!!!

Room Tip: every room has a view of the volcano

This place is first class from the time you drive through the gate, past the helicopter pad (of grass) and drive up to the reception area. You are treated like the most important person from the moment you arrive and it continues your entire stay! The staff is as AMAZING as the property and buildings and rooms. Club Rio is a fun time just a short bus ride down the hill to the river. There is a restaurant down there (as there are on the main levels) but you can go rock climbing, horseback riding, tubing or kayaking down the river and see the animal rescue. Then there are the hot springs...which are everywhere...and are awesome! A gorgeous place, worth every penny!!!

Room Tip: Rooms down by the Perdidos Hot Springs

I took my family ranging from 6 years old to 76. There were activities for all ages and wonderful staff and food. We stayed at Playa Flamingo which I enjoyed too, but I would have been happy spending the entire 10 days at The Springs. It was a beautiful setting with so many activities. If you don't make it part of your vacation, you are missing out.
