From the 2nd floor communal balcony, sitting on a wood-leather Tico (Costa Rican) rocking chair, I overlooked the rain forest. A toucan perched on the armrest and shared a moment. Horseback riding into the forest where blue morpho butterflies sparkle in the sun. Private bathrooms for every room, but they might be down the hall. Locked, and only for your room, just not connected. Great food too. Nice hotel to enjoy slow pace and listen to nature. Easily accessible, a short drive west of the main Interamerican Highway. Can get there by public transportation.
Wet season is May-Oct getting increasingly wet. November-April is dry.
I live in San Jose Costa Rica and take guests to Los Inocentes.
