The food was awesome and the stay was great. my only issue was the large number of bugs in the room but i guess that is unavoidable in such climates.
The staff is great and helpful and the kiteboarding was very good, lots of wind.

Room Tip: take one that is near the restaurant otherwise you will have to do a hike up the hill everytime

Recently came back form Costa Rica, spending 5 days in the Blue Dream Hotel.
The place is really nice! Quiet, great view, clean, and the food is absolutely great!

We loved the warm hospitality and the people.

Very much recommended!

The hostel has nice and clean rooms and a very friendly staff. The dorms are a little bit to small but have their own bathroom.
The only thing we missed was a community kitchen. But they have a restaurant there.
The walking-distance to the beach is about 20 minutes but the hostel offers a shuttle twice a day.
The town is very far away and theres no supermarket around.

If you are around Playa Rajada, Jobo, Manzanillo, Isla Bolanos, Salinas Bay, this is the place to stay and to eat. It is charm, I think it could be a good word to describe, because all around is the dry forrest of the northern Guanacaste, and this little hotel is strategic to get into and out to the beaches.
To get there, is easy, just cross the town of La Cruz, is very little, and go ahead to Puerto Soley route, in around ten minutes you'll see on left side the only one structure with lights if it at night...
So recommended to nice time with friends

Stayed here for about a week to kitesurf. Yes it is remote, but not as remote as other kite spots that are no way as good as this one. Yes, the wind can be gusty, but it is consistent and safe.
The hotel was great value as far as Costa Rica goes and its relative remoteness. Food was excellent with the menu changing daily and the staff did everything they could to accommodate us, including when they were booked out and we wanted to stay one extra night. Guests quickly form a friendly community as in most kiting areas and as for the prices of lessons, they were less than half what they are in other places.
If you do not want to rely on the hotel for transport to and from the beach or town, rent a car.
