Knowledgeable, interesting and charming host. Snorkeling in warm water was disappointing only because few fishes there. Saw dolphins, a huge sea turtle and the Temisque River estuary too. Surely one of the best things we did in Costa Rica.

My family had wonderful day with the crew of N'aia of Almaco Diving. The beautiful boat picked us up at our beach in front of the Andaz hotel and took us for a six hour adventure in which we saw multiple dolphins (which the captain managed to entice to swim and jump in our wake for about 10 minutes while he piloted the boat in circles) and breaching/jumping whales. We visited a couple of beautiful remote beaches and snorkeled twice seeing some nice fish and a nurse shark. Lunch was great and diverse on the boat (they'll also set you up on a beach if you wish). On the way back to the resort, we trolled and caught a nice size Jack and then stopped to jig for multiple small grouper and snapper. This trip had just enough of everything for everyone. Highly recommend this company, tour and crew. Chipopa's the man!
Almaco offers an A ++ river tour. Amenities included: cold drinks, salsa/chips, fresh cut fruit, sunscreen, snorkeling, clean boat. Our tour guide, Livee, was knowledgeable, smart, and fun. Boat driver enabled Livee to talk directly with us. River tour included magnificent Rain Forest river tour, cave trip and a wonderful ocean experiences. We saw whales and dolphins, and snorkeled on quiet reef. We loved tubing without a boat in sight.

As has been said before, this is a great company. They picked us up on the beach at the Four Seasons, and almost immediately we saw several dolphin! We learned quite a bit from our guide, Chipopa and Captain Alex. They were delightful company and full of full of good stories! Snack and drinks were plentiful. We have booked a return trip for a group in March. Thanks for a great day!
We did the whole day tour. I cannot recommend this highly enough. We had a family of five, with 3 kids aged 8-12. We saw dolphins and stingrays (whales hadn't migrated yet), went fishing, then went to the beach where they made an unbelievable meal for us! We went in a sea cave, went snorkeling, SUPs, then tubing/wakeboarding. Later in the afternoon, we went down a river with mangrove trees which was spectacular, then headed home and saw the sun set over the ocean before they dropped us off on the beach right below where we were staying! Chipopa and the other staff were fantastic, we learned so much about Costa Rica, the animals/plants/fish/geography, you name it. 8.5 hours went by so quickly! Would definitely do it again.
