We had diner for my girlfriend's birthday here and it did not dissappoint! We all had nice cocktails (try the banana colada!) and nice sirloin steaks. The meat was real tender and cooked perfectly. It was served with tomato and a baked potato, all cooked on their special-made wood fire grill. Whe where seated to the side, underneath a plastic tent, so do ask for a seat in the middle underneath the trees. Staff came with a birthday chocolate mousse for my girlfriend to top things off.

Excellent food cooked out side on open wood grill in view of everyone. Meals were delicious and priced fairly. Service with a smile. Was our last meal in Samara and worth waiting for.

This was our favourite restaurant experience during our 2 1/2 weeks in Costa Rica! The steaks and fish are grilled to perfection. The accompanying potato and vegetables are excellent. The children's meals are huge and really well-priced. My son (7 years old) loved his fish dinner - serving was quite large and he inhaled it. I think it was $6. The atmosphere is relaxing - it's on the beach, under old trees which are lit beautifully at night. Make sure to listen and watch for the hermit crabs at night.

We had dinner here on recommendation by local, they were soooo right saying this is the best. We shared Mussels in Wine Sauce - Wonderful ! We shared Surf & Turf - We were stuffed. Two Lobster Split Tails and Generous Tender Steak - all cooked on open wood fired grill, perfect medium-rare, outstanding flavor, Grilled Seasoned Whole Tomatoes, Veggies, and potato were great. Not sure we have ever had a better meal anywhere in our travels around the world. Service was excellent. Seating was large burl wood tables and chairs with sand in your toes.

We paid 100 dollars for 2 steaks and 2 cocktails. The meat wasn't so good and the cocktails really light. The service was very snobish! Even if the location on the beach is very nice, there is many other restaurant much more affordable and with best food.
