Owner description: The KINGFISHER is 31 foot Palm Beach, with full electronics, tower and outriggers, offering ample shade and room for up to 5 anglers, it is set up for the serious fishermen as well as the novice angler. We have been sending home satisfied anglers year after year to the point that the majority of our business is now repeat customers, and word of mouth. We strive to take fishing to a more personal level. We encourage angler participation, and while at first (especially to the novice) it may seem difficult, given a good day it is hard not to catch the fever.

“Great fishing trip!”
Reviewed 11 July 2013

What a wonderful time we had with Captain Rick and his crew. Within 30 minutes we had a sailfish on for my son which was my ONE wish for the day :-).
Boat and rigging well maintained. Crew knowledgable and very helpful.
Captain Rick returned my e-mails in a timely manner in planning for our day as well as recommending other activities/offering advice for our first trip to Costa Rica. Definitely won't be our last - hope to fish on the Kingfisher again some day.

“Amazing Fishing Experience!”
Reviewed 12 March 2013

The Kingfisher is an amazing boat! Captain Rick and his crew were
knowledgeable about fishing, friendly, and kind. In the first hour of our
trip, we had sail fish simultaneously on three of our lines! We also caught
a few mackerel, which the crew skilfully filleted for lunch. We swam with a
large school of spinner dolphins and even saw a whale. It was so relaxing
to be on board, fish, swim and take in the stunning views. Thank you, Capt.
Rick and crew, for the perfect fishing day!

“Excellent as usual”
Reviewed 7 March 2013

fished February 24 for the sixth or seventh year in a row. Captain tells it like it is prior to the trip and lets us know it had been slow the prior week. We head out and hooked four sails, three to boat and saw another 3 or four. Great day not to mention that three other boats out of the same bay only had one sail for their efforts. And it should also be mentioned that the beer was cold (we tried our best to finish it but there was too much) the food was great and the mates worked hard all day. Lastly, given our prior experiences, none of this was a suprise.

“Fish on, brother, Fish on...”
Reviewed 28 January 2013 via mobile

Rick, Orlando and Alonso...
These guys know the deal...Pura Vida!!!
Four cousins on the Kingfisher - run out of Carrillo --- marlin, sail, dorado, sail...
Piña, cold beer, a really good ripe watermelon, and carpacho (a ceviche type dish) made on the fly by Alonso with the fresh dorado... It was outrageous...
The boat was tight and well run. The fishing was awesome. Can't wait to get back and hunt for a tuna...
Cheers!

“Great fishing experience!”
Reviewed 7 January 2013

My husband, 2 kids and I went on a full day deep sea fishing trip! The best part was watching the dolphins swimming and playing all around us, and for my husband was catching those huge Dorado's!
The captain and crew were friendly, nice and polite. Other than our sea sickness we had an amazing time and are planning to go again on our next trip to Costa Rica!!
We highly recommend this trip if deep sea fishing is what interests you!!!
Great experience and well worth it!!!
Definitely a must do!!!
