“Great place for lunch.”
Reviewed 25 June 2012

We went here on the recommendation of our Blue Trailz surf instructor and it was perfect. There was a great breeze and the staff was friendly and attentive. We ordered fish tacos, chicken kabobs whitefish and beef tenderloin with mushrooms. Drinks were cold and food was delicious.

“Fresh ceviche, homemade guacamole and grilled fish. Who needs more?”
Reviewed 23 June 2012

On a recommendation from our hotel concierge we visited Nogui's because we enjoy eating "locally". We sat right next to the beach and enjoyed the freshest seafood around. The menu offers something for everyone. We started with ceviche (there are several different ones to chose from), then ordered the grilled fish of the day which was sea bass. After ordering we decided we had to try the fresh salsa and guacamole - yum! The service was excellent, drinks were very good and the entire meal completely affordable. While this may not be the fanciest place in town it certainly is one of the best.

“Orange and Pineapple Pancakes”
Reviewed 6 June 2012

Nogui's has a cool, relaxed ambiance and really good food to boot. I travel often to Costa Rica to visit family and try to get in a Guanacaste side trip, among other things. If I'm within reasonable distance of Tamarindo, I will go to Nogui's. Food is delicious. I especially love both their ceviche recipes which always tastes fresh. My Achilles Heel? The unbelievable orange and pineapple pancakes. I don't know what's in them but they're yummy. With a great cup of coffee and a side of gallo pinto - or rice and beans - of course.

Stop by you won't regret it.

“Great Owner/Chef!”
Reviewed 3 June 2012

We had an all day fishing trip and when we docked at the beach, we brought our baggie of cleaned whahoo to Nogui's owner/chef and asked if he would prepare it for us! We went back to the B & B, showered, returned to Nogui's and he made an amazing meal for us with beans, rice, bread and some type of cold salad/veggie! Didn't have room for their special dessert pie they are known for. The service and food was excellent!
