I have been to this restaurant several times and never been impressed. Each time I search the menu for anything I might want to order. Once it arrives, it looks nice on the plate but always fails in one fashion or another...usually in taste. But temps can be off and often something listed on the menu to go with the ordered dish is not present on the plate. Hard to get the attention of the waiter also. Overall impression? Bland.

Love their lomo saltado and the tacu tacu gran inka!
They should start putting down the prices so more people in Costa Rica will be allowed to try good Peruvian food!

Stopped for lunch and had a glass of wine along with the "conchels". Nice atmosphere located in the Mall de Flores in Heredia. We like this place and my wife and I never tire of stopping in here for a quick bite to eat

I have been awfully surprised by some of the great comments here. I went here twice, with two major disappointments. The first time was a small piece of chewy squid, but let me write about yesterday.

First I hate it when a waiter does not have, (or does not bring) the list with drinks. It is not on the menu, so when you ask for wine or want to make a decision based on your meal the waiter will shout a list of drinks at you and when repeated it is most likely to be different.

The Ceviche is bad, simple. It does not have any of the the fresh yet spicy bite it is supposed to have. Then an embarrassing lomo portobello was presented, the meat dry and chewy, the sauce without any flavour and the mashed potatoes should be called powdered instant.

One who has ever enjoyed the Peruvian kitchen in Peru will feel pity for this restaurant in any way. If you go here, you will feel sorry for everybody who is about to come to this restaurant after you. For decent food this is not the place to be, you will feel robbed for your money, time and hope.

This is not the kind of restaurant where you would say, let's give it a try, it is simply too overpriced to give it a shot. If you have no other choice and have to eat here, I wish you the very best of luck and hope you will order sea bass it is the only thing that is sort of decent.
