Cahuita National Park is a must see attraction when visiting Costa Ricas Caribbean Coast. The park is teeming with wildlife at every twist and turn of the path. Be a part of nature , enjoy the monkeys , see the coati on the trail , look for the eyelash viper resting on a branch. All the while beautiful beaches are steps away. If you tire of walking the trail take a dip in the crystal clear Caribbean Sea. Pack a lunch and enjoy the sights and sounds of the jungle all around you. Don't miss this topical paradise!

“Cahuita National Park is a Gem!”
Reviewed 13 May 2014

The day started off traveling the trails of the national park. We seen the large butterflies, racoons, two kinds of monkeys, eyelash viper, basilisk lizard and many more animals and insects. It was an amazing day and I would recommend this to everyone. Take your time and look closely as most tourists we noted as walking right past animals that were not seen.

There is no fee for this park, but they do accept donations....

Allow yourselves lots of time if you are visiting the park. Its quite easy to spend half a day there.
