We went during the rainy season, so the path after the first river crossing was too muddy and washed out for us to continue. However, even though we didn't go far and we went without a guide, we saw a ton of wildlife everywhere! Capuchin monkeys, howler monkeys, snakes, skinks, ants, butterflies, and crabs were just everywhere. It was a beautiful place that we hiked twice in our 4 days there.
