We too visited from a cruise ship, this is a special place, our guide was very knowledgeable with good English. We viewed snakes (captive!), took a beautiful walk through the butterfly house, looked at frogs and toads, and were lucky enough to see several gorgeous wild sloths. The aerial tramway ride is stunning as you ride above the rainforest canopy. At the bottom are two short and easy walks, one on the level and the other up and down steps to a small waterfall. Also great for bird life, all in fabulous rainforest scenery...... What's not to like?

Visited on a cruise ship excursion. What an amazing an trip! The staff was extremely informative and the scientists were knowledgeable and friendly. Would love to have a job like that. Beautiful butterflies and frogs.

we did this as part of a ship excursion off a cruise boat and really enjoyed it. our guide was very informative and it was nice to learn about the creatures in the forest, then see some of them on a guided walk and then the tram ride. there was also a nice waterfall to walk to but it does involve quite a few steps to get up and down. there is also a small souveneir shop and snack bar, and as noted by others a lab that was very interesting so that we could learn about the research they were doing.

Loved every minute at the rainforest. Our guide Kenneth spoke excellent English and was passionate about the value of the rain forest. His enthusiasm was contagious and we could have stayed there a few more hours. The butterflies were exquisite.

In the VeraAgua forest there is a Zipline called Las Brisas. I had arranged this tour on our own. The boat ported in and found the tour company directly. We drove to the Zipline and the operators where super. Total safety , double wire and enjoy flying trough the trees. Afterwards a short boat ride on a river and drive to Del Monte Banana Plantation. All good. Great guide.

Dear guest,

Thank your for taking the time to review our property and the zipline experience; we are very glad you had a good experience since that is our goal! To avoid confusion to future guests, we would like to clarify that the zipline at Veragua Rainforest is the award-winning Original Canopy Tour (R) and is not called "Las Brisas".

Again, we truly appreciate your review and wish you safe travels!
