We stopped in here, during a wonderful day of biking up the coast to Manzanilla, for lunch. It looked inviting with its grass roof covered with flowers and open garden, and it was. However, the service was very slow and they kept forgetting our order. There were four of us and our food came out very staggered ( one member of our family was done before the last was served) and some of the drinks never came at all. We laughed it off, it was after all a beautiful day and we were on the carribean, but I can not give it a positive endorsement.

We stopped here for dinner one night on our too short vacation in Punta Uva. There were six of us and our dinners were delicious. Everything was prepared as ordered so it did take a while but it was worth the wait. My fish was excellent, the rice, prepared with coconut milk, worried some of us that don't like coconut, but was delicious. As I mentioned in the title the guacamole was the best that I had ever. We got one order then had to get another. My cousin would stop by during the day, place an order for the guac and then go back and pick it up to take with her on whatever adventure was planned for the day. Our dinner and drinks cost about $90 for the six of us including tip.

We stayed next door at Kasha, and walked here for lunch. The food was fresh and delicious!! We saw a beautiful tree frog which stopped everything happening for a few minutes while we all took pictures. The owner was delightful with us, it was a wonderful sojourn in our day!!

We stopped at this restaurant because we saw their sign said "Fish Tacos".The tacos were not only incredibly delicious with homemade tortillas but their rice and beans were amazing as well. We planned to eat lunch there the next day so the owner, Pamela, let us park at the restaurant the next am while we went down to the beach. Unfortunately we had our backpacks stolen on the beach (which can happen anywhere even at home) with our money and car-keys in them. So now we were miles from our rental house with no money, no food, no drinks, and no keys. Pamela was so gracious and helpful when she found out what had happened. She not only helped us make phone calls, fed us more delicious fish tacos and quenched our thirst, but also looked after our son and kept him occupied playing with her grandkids while we tried to find our bags in the jungle. They later gave us a ride back to our rental house. We eventually got new keys and returned to pay her back and to enjoy another simply delightful dinner the next night.

My partner and I have stayed at the Miraflores many times and always enjoy the food and especially the atmosphere of the cafe there. We have across years made the most rewarding friendships sitting in that little cafe. It seems to draw in people who are special and many heart connections and exchange of information seems to consistently take place there. It is one of the parts of our trip there that I most look forward to. Often we would rather eat there than go exploring somewhere else in the area. The staff there are wonderful and the food is consistently excellent and healthy.
