I have sadly just returned to freezing New England from my month long stay on the caribbean coast of Costa Rica. I stayed at La Costa de Papito, and was more than pleased at what I experienced while there. Our timing of the stay was interesting as there was a tropical depression over the area, which created more than usual rain. The locals were surprised by this as well, so was it was an "event" to experience. Since much of our time was spent in shelter, the bungalows became our haven in the rainforest. We didnt mind one bit. The artistic way the entire place is built is a site in itself. The bungalows are all so beautiful and rustically designed, yet were dry and high which was good during the rain. The restaurant was to die for. All the food we had was amazing and the live music was an added pleasure. I loved how accomodating everyone was there, truly so nice. I would go back and stay there in a heartbeat. In fact, I want to plan my next trip. Eddie Ryan and his family have created perfect bungalows in the rainforest. there was even a spa on the premises!!! True pura vida at La Costa de Papito!!!!!! Thank You!
