Description: "La casita azul", a restaurant where you can enjoy the authentic Spanish food in the Caribbean. Thanks to Don Inocencio's expertice, our "Manchego's Chef" and to the use of imported raw materials, we can offer a delicious range of "tapas" and plates from different Spanish regions in a unique environment. You can taste, among others, more than 10 different types of paella all freshly prepared: Lobster, Seafood, Mixed, Chicken, Vegetable, Soupy rice, Black rice (with squid ink), Fideua (Seafood noodles), etc and also: Octopus "Galician style"; Pisto Manchego; Piquillo peppers stuffed with serrano ham; Iberian ham; Cheeseplatter; Gazpacho Andaluz and much more. Hope to see you ...

I loved loved loved this newly opened place. Cannot even compare to all the other restaurants here. The cozy atmosphere with the most delicious steak kabobs...even difficult to find in the US this tasty and affordable. I'm headed back to for the paella with special imported rice from Spain . They take care of every detail . It feels better than home:).

We were in search for an Argentinian steak and "Malbec"
Is now closed..We felt lucky and thankful to accidentally find Azul restaurant. We had the homemade sangria- a perfect balance of fruit and wine, an amazing red meat dish and a plate of grilled veggies. We have not enjoyed a place more here with the care, quality and affordability in each bite. We'll go back the five more nights we are here. Other places on this road served frozen lasagna and chewy Caribbean plates...Casita Azul is a guarantee and very affordable.

We ate there on February 12, 2014, and it was one of the best meals we had during our 2 weeks traveling around Costa Rica. The fresh tuna steak was full of flavor and cooked to perfection. The hamburgers were homemade and delicious. The prices were reasonable and the beer was ice cold. The owners were very frindly and had only recently opened the cafe. I wish them success as it was a memorable stop with great food and great hospitality.
