Met Harvey and Susan our hosts in Puerto Jimenez for a terrific, informative boat ride across beautiful Golfo Dulce. Our relaxation factor kicked into overdrive for the next three days, and when we were shown to our lovely rooms overlooking the Bay, served excellent food prepared by Paulina who sure knows her cooking, enjoyed beautiful grounds and beach and super tours thanks to Balto and Gatto, we knew we had found the greatest place to start our 2 weeks in Paradise from now on. We looked at the Tree House Cabin, simply terrific but lots of stairs so not for anyone with weak knees. But the view--incredible and sooooooo romantic. Lots of fruit trees, so always fresh fruit and juice at meals, fresh "home grown eggs" from the feathery gals, and Harveys Pizza oven really turns out a remarkably yummy Pizza. Harveys expertise sure helps. It was terrific to watch Susan teach her English class to the local kids and Paulina one day, Paulina knows much more than she lets you believe, keep up the good work girls. Anyone going to visit, please pack 1st-4th grade English workbooks (Walmart). (The smiles will make you so glad you do.) You can , fish, hike, Kayak and just sit and look to your hearts content. A perfect spot for families 4+years and up..60+ will love it(not a problem at all) and younger couples will leave knowing they have seen and done it all. Harvey was super to talk to before we left, so ask him any questions you have and let him know what you would like to do. It will be arranged without a problem. Thanks everyone and see you again soon.
