We enjoyed our stay at The Villa Mariana. Plenty of space for 2 families to enjoy. If you have a lot of people, the pools are small and the area around the pool is small. The staff was very friendly and Chef Christopher was an excellent cook! The house does not have A/C but each bedroom has its own A/C unit. We spent more time in the bedrooms than expected because it was hot in the den. The marina is within walking distance with great restaurants. Everything else was a cab ride away. All in all, it was a great vacation!
Villa Mariana is the perfect place to use as a "home base" from which to see everything Costa Rica has to offer. It's convenient - in the hills just above the Quepos marina and just down the road from the National Park - and it's also the perfect place to relax. The staff and food was incredible too! A big thumbs up to everyone who made our stay an enjoyable and memorable one! KC
We stayed at this wonderful place in August of this year. Words cannot describe how amazing this home is. It is a piece of art, set in the jungle, that you can live in. Truly unique.
We had monkeys visit our deck almost everyday. That was the highlight of the trip for the children. For the adults, it was the fact that we didn’t have to lift a finger from the moment we arrived. Juan (groundskeeper) carried our bags to our rooms and made sure everything around the house was perfect. Flor (housekeeper) kept the house perfectly clean behind the scenes and never disturbed any of our activities. And Chef Over.....OMG....can we please bring him home???
If you are looking to go to Costa Rica on vacation, you simply cannot do better than The Villa Mariana.
