“Great accommodation”
Reviewed 31 December 2011

We stayed four nights and can really recommend this place. It's located in tranquil area in which we didnt feel unsafe. It's less than a 10-minute walk from the bus station which takes you every 30 minutes to the national park or to Quepos in about 15 min. Compared to other accommodations we stayed during our holiday in a similar price range, this place is just unbeatable. Also a big thanks to Alban who runs the place. Before and during our stay the communication was competent and hassle free. He's very friendly and constantly available for Q&A regarding tours, shuttles and so on. The apartment (I guess it was # 3) was large, clean, had two A/Cs and a jacuzzi and comes with a nice view over the area. Breakfast is prepared individually, every morning. A small point of critique might be the size of the breakfast. We had a great stay at Natural Pacific Suites.

The suites provided ample space, clean bathrooms, air conditioning, a full kitchen and delicious breakfasts. Alban, the manager helped answer all our questions and made our stay that much more wonderful. The location off the main streets allows for more privacy, and a much more quiet setting. Would stay here again and again.

Do not be taken aback by its somewhat off-the-beaten track location and weak exterior, the suites hidden away here are wonderful. We had an amazing 3-night visit here and would not have wished have stayed anywhere else in Manuel Antonio. The hotel manager/concierge was friendly and helpful and the rooms were great. We were two couples so the two bedroom two bath suite was perfect. A short cab ride brings you right to the park (or get picked up by a tour arranged by the Natural Pacific Suites' manager).

My wife and I stayed at Natural Pacific Suites for 3 nights. The place is hard to find, and once there, it’s not obvious this place has great suites inside. Natural Pacific is located in a very friendly and safe local community. Much more interesting than staying at a conventional hotel.
The rooms and beds are very comfortable. The kitchen is clean with a fridge. Breakfast is good and served in the room. There is a nice community room in the middle with a pool table. Unusual and beautiful.
The manager, Alban, is very welcoming and helpful about things to see and do in the area.
We highly recommend this place. You need a car to stay at this place.

Room Tip: The two upper rooms have a nice balcony and view.

Location:
This place is truly a hidden gem. It is located away from the main street a couple hundred meters (5min walk to bus stop). It faces a local neighborhood so you get that nice local feel without going too far out. There are TWO local grocery stores on the way to the bus stop. The place is safe, although dark at night. (we walked at night @ 10pm, no problem).

Rooms:
The room consists of a kitchen, two bathrooms (one small, one with jacuzzi/bath), two bedrooms, and a living room. We got this all for $60 a night on off season (including really good breakfast). It was just two of us, and we were thinking we should have brought at least two of our friends along. (the couch in the living room is also a bed!) It was that big. I have never really been this surprised in a long time. In the morning you can sit in the rocking chair outside (ask for second floor room) and listen to the monkeys in the distance and look at the local houses.

The "lobby" as we can call it has a pool table (has seen better days, but are you here to play pool?), coffee table, rocking chairs and SHOWERS for when you come back from the beach! Of course a community computer is there as well. Free WIFI in rooms though.

The ONLY con I can think of is that you can't flush the paper in the toilet, and there are bugs. In central america apparently you can't flush toilet paper, so whereever you go, it's the same thing. We stayed at a $200/night hotel a couple days later and you still can't flush toilet paper, and have ants/bugs crawling around. You're in Costa Rica, so those two things you need to expect whereever you go. (the bugs are not that bad)

Oh yeah, and since they have no elevators, those of you with big bags have to go up two flights of stairs. We backpacked, so no problem on that.

Customer Service:
I guess this is where this place shines. Alban, the manager at this place is the most customer oriented person I've ever met at any place, hotel, etc. He was truly the highlight of our trip. He also has his travel agency, so he can recommend any place to go, eat, and play. He never pushed tours on us, and when we were in a jam last minute for canyoning, he called his contacts and set it up for us. All his restaurant recommendations were a HIT, and he is truly knowledgable about what he does. If I was doing it all over again, I'd just pack my bags and stay at this place and leave it up to Alban to recommend me places.

I can't stress how awesome and cool this place was for us. The rooms were totally dope, and Alban was the icing on the cake! Since they only have four rooms, I recommend reservations early to get your room.

Room Tip: Get the second floor for the view; go in the off season for lower prices.

Came from Indiana to visit my son and family who live in Manuel Antonio. I booked here not knowing if I'd feel safe or what the value would be. First it is very safe, 24 hours surveillance cameras with onsite personnel. There are only a few suites so the service is tailored to the guests--as soon as we were all in at night the gates and garages were closed up. If we needed anything it was taken care of immediately. It is in the heart of a friendly neighborhood with access to two local markets within walking distance. Breakfast is made to order every morning and brought to your room. The suites are more like furnished apartments. There are two bedrooms and one and a half baths. Air conditioning, free wi-fi, full furnished kitchen with appliances, pleasant and friendly staff and a beautiful view make this a place i look forward to visiting again. Also the staff is very kid friendly. My granddaughter stayed with me and they would not clean if we were here or if she was napping. In fact the manager apologized for doing repairs outside one day as she napped. Also, Alban, the manager, worked with me late at night, making long distant phone calls when I needed to change flights. You could not find a friendlier staff here and all for a very affordable price. Thanks for the kindness!
