Spent an extended weekend at the resort for a wedding in May. The accommodates were lovely. Large, clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff. The view of the Pacific ocean from the restaurant is breathtaking. The pool area is lovely and if you prefer to swim in the ocean it is a short walk or van ride to a secluded beach where you can wade in the surprisingly warm and calm ocean surf. There is plenty to do in the area-trips to the rainforest, hikes over rope suspension bridges and for the more adventurous ATV trails.

Very nice resort. The beach is rocky but that seemed to be pretty standard for the area. Water shoes help. The waves are fun with excellent body surfing. The pool is an infinity pool with chairs looking over the ocean. 4-6pm happy hour with 2 for 1 drinks was a nice way to wind down the day before dinner. Easy walk to many off the resort restaurants. Food in the area is very good. Overall great experience.

We just returned from Los Altos. We were a family of 6 with “children” ranging from 15-25. The accommodations were outstanding and perfect for our group. 3 bedrooms and a large kitchen/dining/living area. The hiking trails were beautiful and some of them challenging. The pool was a great place to watch the amazing sunsets, especially at 2 for 1 happy hour from 4-6.
The beach is called “rocky beach” for a reason, but there is an area that is less rocky. The family enjoyed playing in the waves while I was photographing the monkeys in the trees. We also saw a sloth right near the property.
It was nice to be able to walk to nice restaurants without having to take a cab. I almost forgot....the French toast at breakfast was superb!

We spent a fabulous two weeks with family at Los Altos for a private wedding party. It was glorious! The beautiful wedding overlooking the sunset over the ocean! All I can say is "wow"!
Kosher food was arranged in their new kosher kitchen (separate facilities - must be arranged in advance). A wonderful time was had by all. The rooms are gorgeous. The grounds are incredible (We saw a family of monkeys one day while we were walking down to the pool!) The staff was attentive & friendly. The suite was magnificent. With each room having a balcony! The master bedroom was incredibly large & luxurious. A full kitchen which could be koshered upon request. Two thumbs up! Just incredible!

This place was a home away from home . The staff could not have been nicer . The food at their restaurant for breakfast , lunch, drinks or dinner was always delicious .
The area had so much nature and activities.
Rainforest, rainmaker tour, alternate terrain vehicles, and boat tours were all offered and arranged through the hotel if you want .
The hotel is right on the Pacific Ocean, with a pool and ocean for your swimming pleasure . There was kayaking right near by. Don’t forget your sunscreen and have a great time!
