We were pleasantly surprised to find a great Chinese restaurant in Manuel Antonio. We only had to wait about 15 minutes while the owners prepared our food in front of our eyes. We talked to the owners while they were cooking and they were really nice. There were three of us and we each thought our meals were great. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for a change from the typical Costa Rican meal.

Lovely fresh cooked Vietnamese / Chinese food at this place. We waited while the food was freshly prepared for us, all from scratch. This cuisine is not something I would expect in Costa Rica but it is a nice change if you are looking for something else.

Spicy Asian wings are great as is the Chop Suey. Nice friendly guy and lady who run this place and speak English. This is mostly for takeaway food but there is a small table if you would like to sit and eat.

Definitely a little hidden gem here!

I had very low expectations for a Chinese food restaurant in Costa Rica, but I was totally blown away by Ngo. First we tried the sweet and sour chicken, and loved it so much that we went back for some type of spicy, General Tso-esque chicken the next day. Again, it was amazing. The food here all tastes fresh and homemade, and was surprisingly some of the best we had in Costa Rica.

We were so grateful that Ngo was right around the corner from our vacation apartment. We arrived in Manuel Antonio from Monteverde, tired, hot and (one of us) sick. Kong and Susan were lovely, welcoming and gave us incredibly useful information for our stay in Manuel Antonio. Additionally, they took really good care of us, foodwise! For the one with an upset stomach, he made a mint, pineapple and ginger smoothie which was delicious, healing and restorative. His other smoothies were also fresh and delicious. The fresh spring rolls were also a light, clean alternative to the heavier Costa Rican food we'd been enjoying.
Ngo is a clean bright and friendly little place, well worth a stop in MA.
