“Manual Antonio”
Reviewed 5 May 2016 for a stay in April 2016

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights (3 would have been better) in April 2016. The chalet was up a hill in a gated community. The smallest house in this area. The porch was nice to sit at and 3 of the 4 days monkeys visited the trees around us and were very entertaining (one of our Costa Rica highlights). Quepos is a typical older Costa Rican city, while Manuel Antonio was on of the most modern towns we saw and had plenty of restaurants and modern motels. Be advised that the chalet is more like a camping cabin, it is small with only 2 rooms. One is the kitchen, sitting area, bedroom combination and the second room is the bathroom. The chalet and furnishings are old, but functional. The interior is dark especially at night. We enjoyed our stay.

Liked best: The monkeys that visited us and being in the rain forest.
Liked least: Small and not a modern facility.

One look at the chalet's photos will show the reader that my home is lovely and and tastefully furnished. It is priced for a couple, and perfectly sized for two.

“Lovely place, excellent service”
Reviewed 23 September 2015 for a stay in September 2015

The property was very nice and well kept. A little hard to find on the first pass, but other wise a good spot at a reasonable price. When we stayed there, the service was fantastic. Elias helped us with several questions, helped book a tour, and most notably, helped us get a refund from company we had booked independently. We tried to book a snorkeling tour online, but the company would not answer and then when they finally did answer our call, they only would speak Spanish (despite we booked on an English website). However, Elias was happy to help, even though it was not a tour they had recommended.

“Cozy cabin in Tropical Forest”

The sights and sounds of the forest might make you think you are isolated from civilization. But when you stay here you're cocooned in a convenient, safe complex with access to amenities such as wifi, and a security gate,
not far from the bustling center of the town of Quepos and Manuel Antonio park.
It was a pleasure take meals on the front porch under the dense forest
cover; or to simply relax with a glass of wine and/or a good book on one of
the porch rocking chairs. If you want to cook, it's a short distance to
supermarkets, including some that are well-stocked with international as
well as local food products and beverages.
