Luna llena is located a bit up the hill from the downtown Montezuma scene which is very nice without noise of the bars and restaurants. I stayed here with my father for 3 nights. I had a single room for $25/night and he stayed in the room with a bathroom and hot water. Overall the accomodation is very rustic, very simple 1 room. Clean with towels exchanged each day. The nights are very hot and with only a fan in the room and little window (at least in my room because it would be open to the outdoors) it could get a little stuffy. The common areas are very open and nice. The coffee is delicious! Bugs were not a problem, but there is mosquito netting if you feel the need. Also, the option of a kitchen just to keep drinks cold or make breakfast in the common areas is nice.
The walls are thin, so be aware. I had some very loud and disrespectful neighbors for 2 out of the 3 nights, however, when I was about to go out and knock to ask them to quiet down, a security guard was already on his way and took care of it very quickly and without me even having to ask.
Milly is lovely, and can give great recommendations on local attractions. The night person who works is also very helpful.
Overall, a great place to stay. Just be sure you're okay with rustic and you'll be fine.
