My boyfriend and I stayed here for 4 nights and like many can attest to, we didn't want to leave! They deserve to always be ranked number one. Josh and Ryan were incredible hosts, super knowledgeable, but overall just give you the authentic Montezuma experience. Gave us directions to a waterfall hike, a long hike along the beaches, yoga opportunities, and a drive to Cayuba. Josh helped us spot monkeys while eating our breakfast, and dinner suggestions at Cocolores that was so great that we returned to the following night. (A great way to spend my boyfriend's 30th B-day, good food, pisco sours and great scenery!) While in the height of their season now, we went off season, mid September, when the town was much quieter, much to our liking, we were lucky most businesses were open and happy to greet us.
Breakfast was a treat every morning, exceptional juice, fruit, and a main course that got you ready for the day. The french press coffee was incredible. (May I suggest making that an export back home, especially Tres Rios Valdivia Coffee, by Cafe Britt.) I now order it online!
If you want a great experience, stay here. Pura Vida!
