Andy took our family on the jungle hike and tree climb, and his knowledge of the local flora/fauna really added to the experience that day, and on future hikes we did on our own. It didn't feel like we were being led by a "tour guide", but rather a friend who was eager to share all the cool things surrounding us. The tree climb was a blast and the experience was a combination of awe and exhilaration! I highly recommend this family run tour, and one of our other best Costa Rica memories came from it: Andy invited us to the local kickball game a couple days later! -We appreciated having these experiences that felt more authentic than your typical tour, and we learned more about the wildlife and jungle than we would have on our own.

This is one of the best things to do while in the OSA peninsula. We brought our kids(12,10), to Costa Rica specifically for experiences like this. The jungle walk/hike was so educational and interesting( u gotta eat the termites, they're tasty). Learned so much about the animals, plants and environment. The best part was the tree climb. We did our family and our friends family, 8 total. We all did it, from the most adventurous dad to the most timid child. Andy was so helpful, encouraging, and supportive. Totally safe but such a rush, and what a view from the top of the 70 ft perch. Can't say enough good things about Andy, what a cool, laid back, and such a wealth of information. Do yourself a favor and make sure you do this tour. Thanks Andy!! We had an incredible adventure.

This tour was great! I did the combo tour where you get to climb the huge tree (with a safety rope), jump off, and then get to do some rappelling for the rest of the day. The couple that ran this company was so friendly, and very knowledgeable about the activity and about the area. I had done some other adventure tours in Costa Rica, but I never got to climb a huge tree like I did here! Anyways, the tour was awesome, and I had a great time. :) Would DEFINITELY recommend. :)

But Andy deserves it. This was a thrilling and educational introduction to the Osa area. Andy is an experienced, welcoming and enthusiastic guide whose descriptions of the local flora and fauna were as entertaining as they were informative. He is a bright, serious and dedicated biologist with the laid-back vibe of the local surfers. As first-time rapellers and tree-divers (there’s a reason it’s called ‘Psychotours’), we felt very comfortable with his mix of emphasizing safety while encouraging us to push our boundaries. He also offered a wealth of information about other fun goings-on in the local Osa community, even inviting us to Friday afternoon kickball. Thanks, man. You made us feel part of the community - John and Sarah

This is by far the best adventure tour I have done in Costa Rica. Andy was an amazing host who shared his lovely ocean side property with us before and after our excursion. He is an extremely knowledgeable biologist who taught us about the flaura and fauna of the rainforest and introduced us to the delicacy of eating termites along our way to the 60' Banyan tree we climbed. He was extremely patient with everyone attempting to climb the tree from a six year old child to the adults ranging in sizes and abilities. He was able to encourage those to succeed even when they were contemplating giving up to find their own way to reach the top and ring the bell where you could lookout over the ocean on the other side. He made you feel very safe even for those afraid of heights as you made that final leap of faith jumping out of the tree and belaying back down while performing any kind of acrobatic or yoga pose on the rope you desired. Our second activity then included rappelling down a water canyon. He and his staff were very efficient at getting us all safely through the day in a safe and fun manner. This is a "must do" activity for anyone visiting in the Corcovado, Peurto Jimenez area!

I am just now writing to the overwhelmingly positive reviews from our past guests. It is such great fortune to have an occupation which educates others about tropical ecology and empowers them to reach levels of confidence in avenues they might not have explored previous. In truth, me and my guides feed off the stoke of our clients and love what we do! Pura Vida... Todo Los Dias!
