If you want a little affordable hotel for a couple nights, this is the way to go. It was only about $80 with taxes and fees for me and my husband to stay one night. It was nice, clean and has A/C. It is right on the bay.

We were on a tight budget for this trip, confining most of our stay to inexpensive and uncomfortable hostel lodging at around $10 a night. But by the end of our trip we opted for something a little nicer and found this pleasant hotel to be very affordable relief. It's right on the beach. Although this stretch of beach is mostly comprised of boat docks, it was still lovely. The room was nice and clean, there is a laundry service (although the girl brought our clothes back still damp), an AIRCONDITIONING which was the biggest delight for us. The bathroom was fabulous, the shower had large windows open to the mangrove forest and we watched a troupe of monkeys pass by. Hot water is pretty rare in the non-resort stays, but this place had luke warm water for a few minutes before it turned cold. And lastly there's a nice little patio area out front in the shade. We stayed off season so we got a discounted rate of $40. And our room had two queen sized beds included in that rate. Normally I believe it's $50 a night. But compared to the resort prices this is a bargain for a very comfortable and pleasant stay. (Especially after exhausting ourselves from hiking and camping in the rainforest and staying in dank hostels with too many mosquitoes and nasty community bathrooms!)
