We actually checked into this hotel on accident, the bus driver dropped us off at the Ceciliano when our reservation was for the location next door but didn't realize it until long after we settled in! The hotel is quite inexpensive....2 beds in a small room with AC and private shower and toilet runs 30 bucks a night, but they have different set ups here with less accomodations such as shared toilet and no AC which are a lot less. During our stay here, we did not see other other "tourists" in the hotel. All were Ticos. There is an option to buy breakkast (typical). The receptionists were polite. Be aware that little to no is English spoken as the place does not routinely cater to tourists. One big advantage of this location is that it is near the center of town and bus station. If you are into staying at a basic budget hotel, this place is OK...but if you want 5-star accomodation, you are better off going up the hill to Manuel Antonio.
