Description: Start your day off right with breakfast in our third-floor, ocean-view and open-air. Open for breakfast 6-10am, seven days a week, we offer a complimentary continental breakfast, as well as the typical Costa Rican gallo pinto or American style eggs, pancakes and more; all cooked to order at reasonable prices. We are open every day from 6:00a.m to 10:00p.m. While we are known mainly for our fine seafood dishes, we have an extensive menu which also includes delicious chicken, steak and pasta dishes, all prepared in a variety of ways. Our friendly bilingual staff will be more than happy to cook the fish that you catch to your taste. "You do the hooking, we'll do the cooking". And after a long day of fishing, some relax in our bar to enjoy our unforgettable sunsets while sipping at a cool tropical drink. The breathtaking view and fresh breeze are sure to relax the weary traveler.

“Nice spot for local food in Quepos”
Reviewed 25 April 2012

We booked a Mangrove swamp tour and the price included lunch at a local restaurant. We were not expecting too much but the tour guide promised us some good local food. I was skeptical as we pulled up to the Best Western Hotel, but a pleasant surprise was in store. The restaurant is on the 3rd floor, and it is partially open to the outside. We had a nice view of the promenade along the ocean and the weather was very nice.
We did not get a menu since the meal was part of the tour, but we did have a choice of chicken or fish. Both dishes were very good and included the meat, white rice, black beans, a local version of cole slaw and a few fried plantains. The food was tasty, nothing fancy but I think I had a good, local meal. Rice and beans could be dressed up with the local salsa, and the coleslaw was a nice, fresh non-mayo version. Dessert was homemade strawberry ice cream, and the mango, smoothie-type drink was awesome. I recommend this restaurant for a good local meal; everybody in the family liked it!
