The accommodations were excellent! The beds were soft, the room was clean, and the staff attentive. The ambiance of the corridors was inviting and quaint. We ate at the restaurant for dinner and they had our reservation down for the wrong night. They scrambled and seated us, but not in the courtyard as we had requested, so we were disappointed with our location in the dining room. The food was okay, but I thought it could have been seasoned better. We also lost our server midway through our dinner with no explanation. I guess he got ill, but the replacement was just as attentive. We arrived on a Saturday and left the next day, so it is hard to say what the neighborhood was like during the work week, but we did walk to the Gold Museum and ate lunch out and felt safe in going to and from which was quite a bit away.
