The building contains all the services you would expect from a post office. I have been coming here for decades, and I always mail my postcards from here. The staff is very friendly and efficient.

“Beautiful architecture”
Reviewed 16 March 2013

The architecture of this building is immensely impressive, but the museum is small and only deserves a quick visit.

“Great Structural Details & Designs”
Reviewed 15 February 2013

The most noticeable attribute of this public landmark is its structual designs. Simply beautiful and very artistic.

“Historic Building downtown”
Reviewed 5 December 2012

Walk by! There are few historic buildings that are as well kept in San Jose, so it's a nice walk and the people around the Correos building are always interesting and a great portrayal of the working class in the country, rushing to and fro. Recommended

“Postal service”
Reviewed 28 October 2012

I have used the Costa Rican postal service for many years, and have never to the best of my knowledge lost anything. The local post mistress greets me by name when I come for mail. My personal PO Box cost several dollars this year, a mega increase over previous years. I receive books regularly, and other small packages without the bother of going to the customs bureau. Letters to and from Canada and the US take from seven to ten days. I no longer feel that I need a Miami address. Your situation might be different.
