I have noticed all new restaurants that open is San Jose usually have fairly reasonable prices and a good flavor. But what i also notice is the price always goes up and the quality always goes down. With that said, El Gaff has continued to prove me wrong with my statement and I hope to be proven wrong for a long time. If I was forced to give a negative review about el gaff the only thing that comes to mind is the jumbo shrimp appetizer we always ordered before our main course was taken off menu. But i imagine that was out of the control of owner.
