Travelers will be drawn to this place because it is gringo-friendly, close to hotels, and relatively cheap. But, the food is third-rate and the atmosphere is dingy at best. Barcelona is very, very small and is open to the street. This is the kind of place to go for a before or after dinner drink and a smoke, not for food. In that case, go around the corner to Jettsy, where you will pay a little more, but the difference in the quality of food is absolutely WORTH IT.
